New stall alert
A big Hovingham Village Market welcome was given to two new stallholders:
Sea Shore and Art – Sara Collinson creates beautiful, unusual art pieces using shells and mixed mediums. Sara loves creating unique treasures for you to keep or gift to a loved one.
Backhaus Swiss bakery – Bakers, Annina, from Switzerland, and Dave, from Northumberland, make small-batch, artisan loaves, buns, sweets and biscuits using organic ingredients. 5% of their profits go to environmental charities.
Be sure to take a look at these new additions to the market line-up on Saturday.
Flashback thanks
A huge thank you to Hovingham Village Hall volunteers who operated our Community Café in May and raised a brilliant sum of £922 towards the upkeep of this excellent village amenity.

Supporting good causes
Our Community Café serves tea, coffee, hot sandwiches and cakes each market day. Thank you for visiting this important community fundraising outlet inside the Village Hall.
Hovingham Village Market also supports good causes by hosting charity stalls and this month, we welcome the FOSS (Friends of Slingsby School) Duck Race team. Slingsby School’s Duck Race and Family Fun Day takes place on Saturday 5th July and ducks for the race will be available to purchase at Hovingham Village Market this Saturday.
